Ingredients

Main

  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillet skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crisp texture
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing before cooking
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels to help coating stick.
  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each salmon piece in flour, then egg, then the panko mixture. Press gently to coat well.
  • Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Brush or spray bites lightly with olive oil. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • Oven Method: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Place on parchment-lined sheet, brush with oil, and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Let rest 1 minute before serving. Serve with your favorite dip, lemon wedges, or over rice/salad.
